A guide device for a neutron flux detector is configured by providing a support column (72) having a cylindrical shape upright on an upper core support plate (49) of a reactor core body (42), providing guide thimble guide tubes (87, 88, 89, 90, 91) within a plurality of upper core support columns between the upper core support plate (49) and an upper core plate (47), extending a plurality of guide thimbles (92, 93, 94, 95, 96) from within the support column (72) into the guide thimble guide tubes, and supporting the guide thimbles (92, 93, 94, 95, 96) by a support plate (73) having one end portion supported by the support column (72) and the other end portion provided upright above the upper core support plate (49) by a support leg (74), and the upper end portion of the support plate (73) is formed into a shape inclined downward from the support column (72) side to the support leg (74) side. Consequently, the structure thereof can be simplified.
