<p>[Problem] To stably maintain metal plates and electrode terminals in a low-resistance connection state over a long period of time when the metal plates are used to connect battery cells having the positive and negative electrode terminals made of metals of different kinds. [Solution] The battery system has multiple battery cells (1) having the positive and negative electrode terminals (2) made of metals of different kinds. Metal plates (3) are connected to the electrode terminals (2) of the respective battery cells (1). The metal plate (3) is created by joining a first metal plate (3A) with a second metal plate (3B) made of a metal different from that of the first metal plate (3A). The first metal plate (3A) has a first stacking section (3a) to be stacked with the second metal plate (3B), and the second metal plate (3B) has a second stacking section (3b) to be stacked with the first metal plate (3A). Also, the first stacking section (3a) has a protruded section (8), and the second stacking section (3b) has a cutout section (9) through which the protruded section (8) is inserted. The first metal plate (3A) and the second metal plate (3B) of the metal plate (3) are joined tightly together by means of a swaging structure that is formed by the protruded section (8) and the cutout section (9) when the protruded section (8) is inserted into the cutout section (9).</p> |
