A CO2 recovery device (10A) regarding this embodiment comprises: a cooling tower (11); a CO2 absorption tower (12); a regeneration tower (13); an absorption liquid level meter (72) for measuring an amount of liquid in the tower bottom portion of the CO2 absorption tower (12); and a level controller (77) for automatically or manually controlling one or both of an amount of supply of make-up water (76) and an amount of condensation of water contained in exhaust gas (15B) on the basis of the amount of liquid in the bottom portion of the CO2 absorption tower (12) detected by the absorption liquid level meter (72), such that while the amount of gas supply of the exhaust gas (15B) is not varying, the level controller (77) is set for automatic control, and while the amount of gas supply of the exhaust gas (15B) is varying, the level controller (77) is set for manual control, to maintain the amount of supply of the make-up water (76) to be constant. |
