The present invention discloses an herbal composition for protection from or treatment of kidney related disorders. The herbal composition comprises an extract obtained from herbs Randia brandisi, Bauhinia purpurea, Mitragyna parviflora, Mussaenda bellila, Hypericum mysorense, Hypericum hookerianum, Ventilago denticulata, Borassus flabellifer, Butea frondosa, Cipadessa baccifera, Solanum torvum, and Solanum lycopersicon, either alone or in combination. The invention also discloses method for preparing said herbal compositions and also method of protection from or treatment of kidney related disorders.
