PURPOSE: A multi-step control method for a flow control valve using a DC(Direct Current) motor is provided to rapidly reach a target value without over and under shoot by controlling the speed of the DC motor. CONSTITUTION: A multi-step control method for a flow control valve using a DC(Direct Current) motor is as follows. An angular velocity limit for each step of the DC motor is divided based on a plurality of thresholds in order to schedule an angular velocity value of the DC motor in stages. The DC motor rotates at the predetermined angular speed according to an angular velocity command. If the angular speed of the DC motor is out of the velocity limit, the DC motor rotates at the predetermined speed according to the angular velocity command for a next step. The difference between the next limit value and the limit value is gradually smaller. |
