METHOD FOR DETECTING A TOUCH PEN COORDINATE AND SYSTEM FOR PERFORMING THE METHOD

PURPOSE: A touch pen coordinate identification method and a system performing the same are provided to recognize an operation of a pen by denying a palm area corresponding to a palm. CONSTITUTION: A system divides sensing blocks(S120). The system selects a sensing block in which a sum of touch sensing values is a value between a set minimum area feature value and the maximum area feature value(S130). The system selects a sensing block within a range of set pen feature values(S140). The system searches for a pen location in neighbor sensing cells based on a pen position. If the number of sensing block cells is greater than a critical value, the system deletes the sensing block(S150).
