<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize torque required by a motor when fully closing a valve by being hardly affected by an exhaust pressure of an engine when a valve body 5 is operated to be fully closed using power of an actuator. <P>SOLUTION: A bow-shaped seat recessed part 6 is provided in the vicinity of an opening of a communication hole 4 penetrating a partition wall 3 of a housing. An arc-shaped concave surface 15 having a prescribed radius curvature is provided on the bottom surface of the seat recessed part 6. An arc-shaped convex surface 14 having a radius of curvature nearly equal to the radius of curvature of the concave surface 15 is provided on the surface of the valve body 5 of a waste gate valve. The waste gate valve is constructed so that the communication valve 4 may be closed by turning the valve body 5 in a direction vertical to the direction of the exhaust flow passing through the communication hole 4 in the operation of fully closing the valve body 5 and bringing the valve body 5 into contact with the seat recessed part 6 in the curved surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
