<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle hydraulic master cylinder that can shorten the axial length of the master cylinder. <P>SOLUTION: A plunger 10 having an opened recess 10 at its tip is slidably inserted into a bottomed cylinder hole 3 formed at a cylinder body 2. A hydraulic pressure chamber 16 is defined at the tip side of the plunger 10, and a union hole 4 communicating with the hydraulic pressure chamber 16 is opened at the cylinder hole 3. One end of a return spring 17 for returning the plunger 10 to a preset prescribed position is seated on the bottom face of the recess 10a, and the other end is seated on the bottom 3a of the cylinder hole 3, respectively. The union hole 4 is opened at the bottom 3a of the cylinder hole 3 and at the external peripheral side rather than a seat face on which the other end of the return spring 17 is seated, and an axial line of the union hole 4 is formed so as to be parallel with the center axis CL1 of the cylinder hole 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
