<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric discharge machining device that can prevent electric discharge from becoming uneven, can achieve stable machining and has an increased machining speed even in a group pulse application method using a finish machining power supply. <P>SOLUTION: The electric discharge machining device for applying a group pulse between a machining electrode and an object to be machined to thereby machine the object to be machined includes: an inter-electrode state detector for detecting an inter-electrode state between the machining electrode and the object to be machined after the group pulse has been applied therebetween; and a controller for controlling an application pattern of the group pulse based on the inter-electrode state detected by the inter-electrode state detector. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
