<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit to a storage device a proper command to be transmitted to the storage device among commands received from a control device, and, when a command to be transmitted is a specific command for reading out non-encrypted data from the storage device, to prevent decryption processing from being performed on the read-out data. <P>SOLUTION: A data processing device is connected between a storage device and a control device for controlling the storage device, and transmits a command received from the control device to the storage device. When the transmitted command is a first command for reading out non-encrypted data from the storage device, the data processing device does not perform decryption processing on the data received from storage device, and transfers the data to the control device.
