<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitoring system that enables easy and quick parameter setting of a monitoring camera in a monitoring system of a game hall. <P>SOLUTION: A spherical identification medium 70 is disposed on a chair Q for each Pachinko machine PX. The identification medium 70 is searched from a captured image of each monitoring camera by image processing. Parameters of the monitoring camera are adjusted, such that the searched identification medium is positioned at the center in a screen in a predetermined size, and preset as camera information.
