<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and the like for adaptive phase equalization compensating signal distortion caused by ISI. <P>SOLUTION: A method comprises the steps of: generating a recovery data signal from a phase equalization signal based on transmission data included in the phase equalization signal, by a data detection part; comparing the phase equalization signal and the recovery data signal mutually, by a phase distortion detection part; determining a phase distortion level based on the comparison, by the phase distortion detection part; generating a phase distortion level signal based on the phase distortion level by the phase distortion detection part; generating a phase equalization level signal based on the phase distortion level signal, by an integration part; and adjusting a transmission data signal including transmission data based on the phase equalization level signal, by a phase equalization part. By adjusting the transmission data signal, there is provided the phase equalization signal or a phase preliminary distortion signal configured so as to be distorted to the phase equalization signal by transmission over a communication channel. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
