<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source for illumination in which a heat load received by a circuit unit is suppressed in a structure where a case housing the circuit unit is downsized and a semiconductor light-emitting module and the circuit unit are arranged in proximity. <P>SOLUTION: The light source for illumination is provided with a light-emitting part in which a plurality of semiconductor light-emitting elements are arranged in a ring-shape at the front of a base with the respective main emission direction facing the front part and a circuit unit which transforms power supplied from the outside and makes the plurality of semiconductor elements emit light. A through hole which penetrates in a front and rear direction inside the ring of the plurality of semiconductor light-emitting elements is formed in the light-emitting part, and the circuit unit is arranged so that at least a part of the circuit unit may be located in the through hole, and a space is formed between the circuit unit and the light-emitting part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
