<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a backlight assembly capable of preventing the rocking (backlash) of a light guide plate in the case that a shock and vibration are applied from the outside while maintaining the flatness of the surface of the light guide plate. <P>SOLUTION: The backlight assembly comprises a light-emitting part, a light guide plate, a bracket, and a housing container, and the light-emitting part generates light. The light guide plate includes a first side face which receives light generated from the light-emitting part and a second side face adjoining the first side face, the bracket is fixed to the second side face of the light guide plate, and the housing container includes a bottom and a sidewall extended from the bottom and houses the light-emitting part and the light guide plate while including a connecting part at the sidewall to which the bracket is connected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
