<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that, when disconnection occurs in a light emitting device having a plurality of units in each of which light emitting elements in a group are connected in series, a current does not flow in a whole unit, so that the whole unit does not emit light. <P>SOLUTION: A light emitting device includes a circuit having a plurality of units in each of which light emitting elements in a group are connected in series using connection wirings in a group, while the units are connected in parallel. A countermeasure against disconnection can be taken by providing a spare wiring electrically connecting one connection wiring included in one unit with one connection wiring included in other unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
