<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an egg-containing composition capable of easily and securely providing an egg dish whose superior outside appearance and texture are retained; and a method for producing the same. <P>SOLUTION: The egg-containing composition contains a gelled lump of pseudo albumen, a gelled lump of pseudo yolk, and a liquid egg. The pseud albumen and the pseudo yolk independently contain a gelling agent (excluding agar), sugar, a coloring agent, and a thickener. The coloring agent contained in the pseudo albumen is an oil-and-fat product, and the coloring agent contained in the pseudo yolk is carotene. The contents of the thickeners are independently 0.85 mass% or more relative to the total amount of the composition. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
