<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce wasted time until a power-off and power consumption consumed during the time without resetting a power-off timer provided in a network apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: A management device 101 generates (601) a task with a reboot of a network apparatus 102 according to a setting or the like from a manager 600. When a power-off timer is started, the network apparatus 102 notifies (603) the management device 101 to start a power-off timer. According to the notification to start the power-off timer (S700), the management device 101 sets (604) a task that is generated with the network apparatus 102 performing the notification defined as an object, not to reboot the network apparatus 102 with the execution of the task (S708).
