<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that angle ambiguity occurs, and an effective range for angle measurement as a radar device is narrowed when a target orientation is measured using phase difference between signals received by element antennas that are adjacent to each other. <P>SOLUTION: When one reception channel with plural element antennas is formed, signals are synthesized by combining plural element antennas RX1-1 and RX1-2 positioned so as not to be adjacent to each other as the same reception channels. This makes it possible to put an angle at which angle ambiguity starts to occur into an angle as a wider angle than a viewing angle of a radar as possible, thereby to ensure at the maximum an effective range for angle measurement as the radar.
