<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal and a time correction method capable of automatically correcting the time even the terminal is present within a network where the GMM Information and the MM Information are unreachable. <P>SOLUTION: A portable terminal includes: a time information reception determination part for determining whether the terminal can receive time information from a network in which the terminal exists; a table for mapping a network where the terminal ought to exist with a timezone of an area where the network is operated; and a time correction part for referring to the table and correcting the time based on the time zone corresponding to the network in which the portable terminal exists if it is determined that the time information is not received. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
