<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device that checks the quality of printed materials accurately in a short time. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing device includes: a block density calculation unit 25 that, during printing, calculates the average density of respective blocks obtained by dividing a page image based on image data for printing, and, after printing, calculates the average density of respective blocks obtained by dividing a page image based on image data created by reading a printed material printed based on the image data for printing; and a quality determination unit 26 that compares the average density of the blocks calculated from the image data for printing during printing and the average density of the blocks calculated from the image data created by image reading after printing, and determines the quality of the printed material based on the comparison result. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
