<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact and thin electric motor which has a bearing with a long acoustic life. <P>SOLUTION: The electric motor includes a load side bearing part 8 comprising: a short cylindrical sintered alloy oil-impregnated bearing 10 for supporting the load side of a rotation axis 5; a cylindrical sintered alloy oil storage pipe 11 which has the sintered alloy oil-impregnated bearing 10 fitted inside and held; a bearing peripheral member 1c of a housing 1 for holding a peripheral part of the sintered alloy oil storage pipe 11; a bearing end member 1d of the housing 1 covering ends on the load side of the sintered alloy oil-impregnated bearing 10 and the sintered alloy oil storage pipe 11; and a bearing end gap 13a which is formed between the ends on the load side of the sintered alloy oil-impregnated bearing 10 and the sintered alloy oil storage pipe 11 and the bearing end member 1d of the housing 1 to form an oil reservoir. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
