<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular electric damper device that can improve the riding comfort of the vehicle by optimally attenuating the vertical movement of wheels, is not heat-converted in an early stage, and can always be regenerated. <P>SOLUTION: In the vehicular electric damper device, the relative vertical movement of the wheels with respect to a vehicle body are converted into rotational movement, the vertical movement is attenuated by rotating electric motors 35L, 35R, and the electric motors generate attenuation forces for attenuating the vertical movement of the wheels. The damper device for the vehicle comprises: a displacement speed detection part which calculates a displacement speed at which the wheels are vertically displaced; a drive current setting part which sets target drive currents of the electric motors on the basis of the displacement speed; and motor drive parts 106l, 106R which drive-control the electric motors on the basis of the target drive currents. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
