The portable device (1) has a compressor for providing compressed air, a container (2) for receiving soil improving material and a liquid tank (3) for receiving liquid. An installation system has hydraulic or pneumatic actuators that are connected with compressor, container and the liquid tank. A control device (4) controls the actuators of the installation system so that supply amount of compressed air, soil improving material and liquid are controlled with respect to ground working tool. A chassis (6) is provided for arranging and supporting all the components of portable device. An independent claim is included for method for operating portable device for supplying soil improving material.
