<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic motor capable of improving drive efficiency with a simple configuration. <P>SOLUTION: An ultrasonic motor friction-driving a substantially-rod-like mobile body is configured to have: vibrators 2-1 and 2-2 driving the mobile body in first and second directions by one vibrator; a mobile body 8 contacting with the vibrators 2-1 and 2-2 and friction-driven in the first and second directions by vibration of the vibrators 2-1 and 2-2; pressing members 10A and 10B pressing the vibrators 2-1 and 2-2 toward the mobile body 8; two retainers 6A and 6B arranged along the first direction and into which the mobile body 8 is inserted; and a housing 4 housing the vibrators 2-1 and 2-2 and the retainers 6A and 6B in a predetermined housing state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
