<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To do visual training for improving cognitive ability in a peripheral effective visual field during viewing a video content. <P>SOLUTION: A training image display unit 12 outputs a training image for making a given first figure appear at substantially random time intervals at a particular position in a peripheral portion of a display screen. An output unit 18 superimposes the training image output from the training image display unit 12 on a video content received from the outside, and outputs a resulting image to a display. A test image display unit 14 outputs a test image for making the first figure appear at substantially random time intervals at the particular position on the display screen, and changing the brightness of a given second figure at the center of the display screen at substantially random time intervals. A test determination unit 16 detects the presence/absence of a response operation input from a user who has recognized the appearance of the first figure when the first figure appears at the particular position on the display screen, while the test image is output. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
