<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording apparatus that can more highly accurately perform a recording position adjustment. <P>SOLUTION: The inkjet recording apparatus includes: a recording means that ejects ink from nozzles of a plurality of nozzle arrays of a recording head and records test patterns including a plurality of matching patterns corresponding to nozzle groups having respective nozzle arrays on a recording medium; a means that includes a lens and a reading sensor to read the test patterns as an image; a first calculation means that performs pattern matching with respect to the plurality of matching patterns of the read image and calculates a distance between the plurality of matching patterns; a second calculation means that calculates a correction coefficient for correcting the distance between the plurality of matching patterns in the images based on the distance; a third calculation means that calculates displacement of an ink landing position based on the read image the correction coefficient; and an adjusting means that adjusts the ink landing position based on the displacement. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
