<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire net which is lightweight and rigid. <P>SOLUTION: The wire net 1 consists of longitudinal wires 2 and transverse wires 3 which are woven in a lattice manner. The longitudinal wires 2 and the transverse wires 3 consist of steel wires of the wire diameter of 0.1-2.0 mm, containing, by mass, 0.6-1.3% C, 0.01-1.50% Si, and 0.05-2.0% Mn, and having a pearlite structure aligned in a lamellar manner in the longitudinal direction. At least one of the longitudinal wires and the transverse wires are crimped, and their tensile strength is 800-4,500 MPa. The wire spacing between the longitudinal wires and between the transverse wires is 0.2-30 mm, the crimp angle θ(°) of the steel wires at the crossing positions of the longitudinal wires and the transverse wires is 95≤θ<180, and the nominal tensile strength of the steel wires is ≥800 MPa. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
