METHOD OF MOLDING CUSHION FOR ASSEMBLED ITEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the work of attaching a cushion to a body or a movable body and the control of the parts of the cushion unnecessary.

SOLUTION: In a method of molding the cushion mounted in a mutual contact part to buffer a shock when the body constructing the assembled item contacts the movable body movable to the body, a molding tool (upper mold 50 or lower mold 52) is arranged in a portion of the base material, which is either one of the body and the movable body (cover body 16), corresponding to the contact part to form a cavity 54 between the molding tool and the base material. A molten elastic material is injected to the cavity 54 to bond the cushion located at the contact part to the base material.
