<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protector for an electric double-layer capacitor, which has a protection function of high reliability with a simple circuit structure. <P>SOLUTION: A voltage dividing resistor 2 which equally divides a voltage of each capacitor block 3 is installed at each capacitor block 3 in a capacitor module in which the capacitor blocks 3 composed of electric double-layer capacitors 4 are connected in series. When a voltage of the capacitor block 3 is detected and the voltage of the capacitor block 3 becomes equal to or more than a set voltage that is previously set, a transistor 11 is switched from an off state to an on state, and a current from the capacitor block 3 is discharged in a discharge resistor 30 via the transistor 11 becoming the on state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
