WIRELESS ROUTER AND LOCATION INFORMATION NOTIFYING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless router equipped with a GPS function and a location information notifying method which can provide notification of location information in response to a location information acquisition request from a wireless LAN terminal.

SOLUTION: A wireless router is connected with a wireless LAN terminal via a wireless LAN, is connected with a network on a WAN side via a WAN side line, and performs relay processing between the wireless LAN terminal and the network. The wireless router comprises: location information storage means for recording location information acquired by receiving GPS signals; and control means for, on receiving inquiry concerning location information from the wireless LAN terminal, transmitting the location information recorded in the location information storage means to the wireless LAN terminal as a reply.
