<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication device which can reduce consumption power while securing responsibility. <P>SOLUTION: When transmitting by radio a response request signal for polling a mobile phone 4 and receiving a response signal transmitted by radio from the mobile phone 4 having received the response request signal, a radio communication device 3 transmits an ID code included in the response signal to an in-vehicle machine 2.
