<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress fuel decay without a drop in fuel consumption by appropriately switching to the fuel consumption acceleration mode on the basis of a predictive estimation of fuel consumption progress and fuel decay progress. <P>SOLUTION: A hybrid vehicle control apparatus includes: an engine 1 driven according to fuel supply from a fuel tank 14; a drive motor 3 for driving the drive wheels 6 and 6 according to power supply from a battery 4; and a vehicle integrated controller 24. A fuel consumption estimation means estimates the number of days t1 required from the present to refueling or fuel depletion (step S21). A fuel decay estimation means estimates the number of days t2 required from the present to fuel decay (step S22). When the refueling timing (t1) occurs after the fuel decay timing (t2) (YES in step S23), a fuel decay limiting control means switches to a fuel consumption acceleration mode corresponding to the size of the gap between both timings (1) and (2) (steps S23 - S30). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
