METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING META-ARAMID FIBER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing meta-aramid fiber by melt spinning a meta-aramid oligomer obtained through synthesis not producing a salt as a by-product.

SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing meta-aramid fiber comprises the steps of: obtaining a meta-aramid oligomer having solution logarithmic viscosity measured in N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone of 0.1 to 0.4 dL/g through a heat treatment using diamine components of 3,4'-diaminodiphenyl ether and meta-phenylene diamine in a ratio of 30 mol%/70 mol% to 70 mol%/30 mol% in all diamine components and using isophthalic acid as an acid component; and fiberizing the meta-aramid oligomer through melting.
