<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricant for a bearing, which has fundamental performance required for a lubricant for a bearing, and additionally, has a lower viscosity than conventional ones, and is excellent in heat resistance, antistaticity, and low-temperature viscosity property; and to provide utilization of the same. <P>SOLUTION: The lubricant for a bearing contains a compound represented by formula (1): C<SB POS="POST">f</SB>H<SB POS="POST">2f+1</SB>-R<SP POS="POST">1</SP><SB POS="POST">a</SB>-O-(C=O)-O-R<SP POS="POST">2</SP><SB POS="POST">b</SB>-C<SB POS="POST">g</SB>H<SB POS="POST">2g+1</SB>(1), wherein O is an oxygen atom; C is a carbon atom; H is a hydrogen atom; R<SP POS="POST">1</SP>and R<SP POS="POST">2</SP>are each independently an oxaalkylene group having 2 to 48 carbon atoms and 1 to 6 oxygen atoms; a and b are each independently an integer of 0 or 2, and a+b≥1; and f and g are each independently an integer of 1 to 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
