<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce change in color development even if a temperature of a printer itself is raised when continuous printing is performed in the same ambient temperature. <P>SOLUTION: A temperature sensing part 48 senses a temperature of a thermal head 2 to obtain a head temperature. A temperature sensing part 49 senses a temperature within a body to obtain an ambient temperature. At start of printing, according to the ambient temperature, an image processing part 43 selects one of a plurality of look-up tables in which head temperatures, ambient temperatures and the number of printing pulses are defined, as a selected look-up table. According to the head temperature and the ambient temperature, the image processing part and a head control part 41 refer to the selected look-up table and determine the number of printing pulses corresponding to image data to control the thermal head. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
