<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dental material and a dentistry restorative material that have a high antimicrobial effect continuing for a long period of time and do not have the fault of a prior art. <P>SOLUTION: The dentistry restorative material includes: (a) at least one kind of an antimicrobial activity compound of formula (I): [AG]<SB POS="POST">m</SB>-R<SP POS="POST">1</SP>-Z-SP-Y-R<SP POS="POST">2</SP>-[WG]<SB POS="POST">p</SB>, wherein m is 1, 2, 3 or 4, p is 1, 2 or 3, R<SP POS="POST">1</SP>and R<SP POS="POST">2</SP>do not exist or are an alkylene group, R<SP POS="POST">3</SP>independently is an alkyl group, a phenyl group or a benzyl group in each case, AG is an anchor group, SP is a polymer spacer, WG is an antimicrobial activity group, Y and Z do not exist or are O, S, NH, N+R<SP POS="POST">3</SP><SB POS="POST">2</SB>, an ester group, an amide group or a urethane group or a filler surface-modified by the compound; (b) a radically polymerizable monomer; and (c) an initiator for radical polymerization. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
