The carrier (10) has an outer casing (12) and an inner casing (14) which are assembled with respect to the respective flange regions (16). The reinforcing elements are arranged at a cavity (18) that is formed between the outer casing and the inner casing. The reinforcing elements (20,22) are made of fiber-reinforced plastic material. The reinforcing elements are connected with the flange regions. The reinforcing elements arranged within the outer casing and the inner casing, are supported with extension portions (34,37).
