<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress excessive control of looper height when a leading end of a steel plate is passed through rollers. <P>SOLUTION: A looper torque controller 16 determines whether or not an actual angle θ<SB POS="POST">FBK</SB>of a looper 4 is a target angle value θ or less, and if the actual angle θ<SB POS="POST">FBK</SB>of the looper 4 is determined to be the target angle value θ or less, an output torque of the looper 4 is added with an output torque for low value compensation. Consequently, even in the case where the leading end of a rolled material 5 is subjected to rolling under such a condition that the rolled material 5 is applied with a tensile, the looper 4 can be raised to the height corresponding to a target tensile by the output torque of the looper 4, to suppress excessive control of looper height. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
