<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevating shelf which can increase the rigidity without spoiling the usability. <P>SOLUTION: The elevating shelf 100 includes a case 110 the lower side of which is opened and a shelf section 200 which is supported by the case in a manner to be freely elevatable, wherein the shelf section includes: a pair of side plates 210a and 210b; a long strip-like upper shelf plate 220 of which both ends are fixed to the pair of side plates; a long strip-like lower shelf plate 230 which is arranged under the upper shelf plate, and of which both ends are fixed to the pair of side plates; and a supporting member 300 which connects the upper shelf plate and the lower shelf plate at an approximately center of them in the longitudinal direction. The supporting member includes: an upper arm section 310 which is connected with the upper shelf plate in the fore and aft direction being approximately perpendicular to the longitudinal direction; a lower arm section 320 which is connected with the lower shelf plate in the fore and aft direction being approximately perpendicular to the longitudinal direction; and a connecting section 330 which connects the rear ends of the upper arm section and the lower arm section with each other.
