<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep intrinsic performance of a filter for a long period by providing a dust removing device capable of providing sufficient dust removing effect and reducing labor hour for cleaning the filter without increasing power consumption, in a device having the filter for filtering the air. <P>SOLUTION: This dust removing device includes a dust remover 11 for removing dust by being brought into contact with a surface of a prefilter 4, and an impact application means 12 for giving an impact to the prefilter 4, and is constituted to have the impact by the impact application means 12 by driving the dust remover 11, so that the impact application means 12 makes the dust attached to a depth section of the prefilter 4 and a clearance gap float up to a surface, and the dust floating up to the surface can be removed by the dust remover 11, thus the efficiency of removing dust can be improved while reducing the labor hour for cleaning the prefilter 4.
