<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a movable body map device, and a processing method and program thereof capable of effectively reducing memory capacity of map information and appropriately performing update of the map information. <P>SOLUTION: A movable body map device includes: a first storage means for storing map information; a position detection means for detecting a current position of a movable body; a state detection means for detecting a movement state of the movable body; a reading means for reading out a predetermined area that includes the current position of the movable body from the map information of the first storage means; a second storage means for temporarily storing the predetermined area read from the map information of the first storage means; and a movement prediction means for predicting a movement position of the movable body moving out of the predetermined area on the basis of the current position of the movable body detected by the position detection means and a movement state of the movable body detected by the state detection means. The reading means previously reads out the predetermined area that includes the movement position predicted by the movement prediction means from the map information of the first storage means and stores the area in the second storage means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
