<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a touch drawing display device capable of maintaining a correct drawing even when touch operation other than drawing is performed in a drawing mode, and an operation method for the touch drawing display device. <P>SOLUTION: A touch drawing display device includes a display panel for displaying an image and a touch panel, placed so as to be superimposed on the display panel, for detecting a touch position. The device draws a line 500 corresponding to a locus formed by movement of the detected touch position on the displayed image. When the locus specifies operation other than drawing, the device deletes a line 502 wrongly drawn from the start point to the end point of the locus specifying the operation.
