<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation device 20 capable of reflecting information such as new construction of an entrance/exit of a highway in a database in the navigation device 20. <P>SOLUTION: The navigation device 20 comprises: a link data storage unit 25 for storing link data which indicates information concerning roads; a current location calculation unit 24 for calculating a current location of a vehicle; a route search unit 21 for, based on a departure place and a destination which are input by a user, searching for routes from the departure place to the destination by referring to the link data storage unit 25; a route guidance unit 22 for performing route guidance based on a guidance route selected by the user from the routes retrieved by the route search unit 21 and the current location of the vehicle; and a link adding unit 23 for, on receiving information indicating a location of a highway entrance/exit that is input by the user, adding an entrance/exit link which indicates a road section from the location of the highway entrance/exit to an existing ordinary road to the link data storage unit 25. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
