MAIL SYSTEM, MAIL DISTRIBUTION METHOD AND MAIL DISTRIBUTION PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mail system capable of tracing data transmitted by use of a mailing list with a simple method.

SOLUTION: (1) Scanning of a document and specification of destination data of a mailing list (ML) are executed. (2) An inquiry is made at a mail server 4 about the destination data of the mailing list (ML). (3) The destination data of the mailing list (ML) is obtained. (4) An inquiry is made at a public key server 6 about public key data registered for each individual destination data. (5) Public key data for each individual destination data is obtained from the public key server 6. (6) Image data scanned for each individual destination data is encrypted with the public key data. (7) Encryption file data is transmitted to a mail server 8 in accordance with the individual destination data by mail.
