<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gold alloy for dental casting, which does not contain palladium and in which the possibility of causing metal allergy is made low and residual stress is removed by single heat treatment and which can be fine-tuned by hand. <P>SOLUTION: The gold alloy for dental casting does not contain Pd, and contain, by mass, 12.0 to 13.0% Cu, 9.5 to 11.0% Ag, 4.5 to 5.5% Pt, 0.5 to 1.5% Zn, 0.2 to 0.35% Co and 0.05 to 1.0% Ir, and the balance Au with a trace amount of inevitable impurities. The gold alloy is obtained by directly subjecting a cast body to hardening heat treatment without performing softening heat treatment, or subjecting the cast body to hardening heat treatment after softening heat treatment to control its Vickers hardness after the hardening heat treatment to be the range of 265 to 280 HV20, its 0.2% proof stress after the hardening heat treatment to be the range of 740 to 780 MPa, and its breaking elongation after the hardening heat treatment to be the range of 10 to 14%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
