<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input device capable of ensuring safety and improving operability of the input device during driving. <P>SOLUTION: An input device 1 installed in a vehicle includes: a display 13 for displaying selection candidates to be selected to execute a predetermined function while the vehicle is stopping, and changing the display from the selection candidates to a map after the vehicle starts driving; a touch panel 11 for receiving input for selecting any of the selection candidates; and a control unit 14 for exerting control so that the touch panel 11 does not receive input while the vehicle is driving. When the predetermined function can be executed with one operation of selecting any of the selection candidates while the vehicle is stopping, the control unit 14 displays, on the display 13, the selection candidates for the one selection operation overlapping with the map and exerts control so that the touch panel 11 can receive input for selecting any of the selection candidates for the one selection operation, after the vehicle starts driving. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
