摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas recirculation control method capable of suppressing new air from flowing to an exhaust side in an operation region where pressure of compressed new air exceeds pressure of exhaust gas, in an internal combustion engine having a supercharger and an exhaust recirculation device. <P>SOLUTION: The exhaust gas recirculation control method for the internal combustion engine, which detects presence of new air in an exhaust gas recirculation passage at a downstream position of an exhaust gas recirculation control valve and controls recirculation of exhaust gas, the internal combustion engine having the supercharger and an exhaust gas recirculation device having an exhaust gas recirculation control valve, determines whether or not the amount or density of the new air while the exhaust gas recirculation control valve is open exceeds a fixed value, fully and forcibly closes the exhaust gas recirculation control valve if it is determined that the fixed valve has been exceeded, detects the operation condition of the internal combustion engine while the exhaust gas recirculation control valve is fully closed, and opens the exhaust gas recirculation control valve so that target valve opening corresponding to the operation condition is obtained if the detected operation condition of the internal combustion engine is out of a low rotation speed high load region or is an operation condition where pressure of intake air is below the pressure of exhaust gas. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
