<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas recirculation apparatus and an internal combustion engine system, according to which measurement can be performed with high responsiveness and a feed amount of exhaust gas can be properly regulated. <P>SOLUTION: The exhaust gas recirculation apparatus includes a recirculation pipe, a flow rate controlling valve, a flow rate measuring device, and a control device. The flow rate measuring device includes: a measuring cell; a purge gas feed part feeding purge gas to a first purge gas feed pipe of the measuring cell; a light emitting part injecting laser beam into an injection pipe; a light receiving part receiving the laser beam injected from an incident pipe, passing through the measuring cell and emitted from an emitting pipe and outputting the received quantity of light as the light receiving signal; a calculation part calculating the flow rate of the exhaust gas flowing through the measuring cell on the basis of the light receiving signal output from the light receiving part; and a measuring control part controlling the operations of the respective parts. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
