<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve manipulability in a pivotal manipulation type writing instrument which is retractable by the pivotal manipulation of a pivotable body. <P>SOLUTION: The pivotal manipulation type writing instrument includes the pivotable body 30 pivotable relative to a container body 12 and writing element ejecting units 28a and 22c configured to actuate and move a slider 22 to urge a writing element 20 to be ejected from the container body, as the pivotable body 30 is pivoted. The pivotable body 30 is pivotable relative to the container body 12 by 360 degrees in either right or left direction, and the writing element 20 can be returned to a retracted state in which the writing element 20 is retracted into the container body 12 from an ejected state in which the writing element 20 is ejected from the container body 12, even when the pivotable body is moved in either right or left direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
