AUTOMATIC TELLER SYSTEM, CONTROL METHOD FOR THE SAME AND STORAGE DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic teller system enabling a shop to alleviate a burden to set aside change.

SOLUTION: The present invention comprises an automatic teller machine and a storage device. The automatic teller machine has: a touch panel section which displays an operation menu where operation is input therethrough; a receiving section to receive cash; a first storage section to store banknotes; a second storage section to store coins; a first control section to control in accordance with a content input to the touch panel; and a first communication section. The storage device has: a second communication section to communicate with the first communication section; a third storage section to store either packed coins or bundled banknotes; a lock section to lock the third storage section; and a second control section which unlocks the lock section in accordance with an instruction from the first control section through the second communication section when a money exchange mode is selected in the operation menu and the banknotes worth a prescribed amount are deposited in the receiving section.
